I have had the privilege to be exposed to this industry from early childhood and began my formal training in 2003. At this time, I realized my desires to pursue a career and follow in my mother’s footsteps to keep this family tradition alive. I am very driven and passionate about my career, and I thank God for blessing me with a talent to help others feel great about themselves. I am a hair and make-up artist for the Miss Virginia USA pageant and the Miss Virginia Teen USA pageant as well as other pageants in the surrounding area. My specialty is hair and make-up for wedding, pageant, prom and photography. I consider my job to be very rewarding and it is an honor to be a part of this salon.
Abbi Lane Rutherford

After obtaining my license, I continued my traditional education, receiving an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration. However, while pursuing my degree, I discovered my true passion was making people feel and look their best! I take my work to heart and strive to make each client’s visit an uplifting, personal and fulfilling experience! I enjoy working with all ages and hair types from cut and color to special occasion styling and everything in between! In my spare time, I enjoy being involved in my church singing, and being a Youth Leader and Audio Visual Technician.

I feel truly blessed to have a career that I love and am so passionate about. I have been working in the hair and makeup industry since 2003. Since then, I have become the official stylist for the Miss Virginia USA and Miss Virginia Teen USA pageants. My goal is always stay updated on the latest trends and to provide the best services I can for clients. When a client leaves my chair, I hope they can say it was a wonderful experience. It is a privilege to be a part of the team at Tracy’s Salon on Main and I know in my heart that when you visit the salon you will feel more than welcome and will want to come back!

Over the past 15 years I have worked in some the best salons in Knoxville, TN and Atlanta, GA. Now, I am proud to be a part of the best salon in southwest Virginia, Tracy’s Salon on Main. Continuous education is the cornerstone of my success and I have attended countless educational events around the country.
